Entrepreneur Hal Kaufman founded the Hal David company in 1964, and changed the company's name to DeskMakers in 1981. In 2003, Hal sold the business, but he continued to be active in its management until he passed away in 2005. DeskMakers' new owner and CEO, Phil Polishook, is committed to continuing the DeskMakers tradition of providing quality office furniture, value pricing, unlimited customization, and personalized customer service.
