This lamp turned out to be a perfect accent for our metal table and mirror that were already in our new foyer. The oval shaped shade is great for positioning on foyer tables that can be narrow. The other sculture-like lamps we've seen were all much more expensive and this one is certainly equally as attractive. Good construction,almost no assembly required and of course, a great price! - Lulu
