This desk was ordered to fill a small space that previously held a sewing machine cabinet. Since my wife has macular degeneration she no longer sews and the sewing machine and cabinet were given to a daughter. We wanted to utilize the space for reading and storage and this desk fulfilled our needs. - Lou the bettor.
