We got rid of, finally, our futon to make room in our guest room for other activities. But, we still needed a bed for when family or friends came to visit. We searched for many types of sofa sleepers but none would give us what we needed to save on: space! This piece is a bit larger (taller) than I expected but it was well worth the price. To keep the foam tri-fold mattress clean when people sleep on it I would recommend a cover with a sweat/water proofing so that it lasts longer. - annie calzone
